Today, the Office of Teaching and Learning provided a startling report to the State Board of Education on the percentage of math classes taught by noncredentialled teachers . 57% of math classes in grades 7-12 are taught by noncredentialled teachers. On the same token, 49% of all high school algebra and geometry courses are also taught by noncredentialled teachers.
